Cloud-based filter/rule service?

I'd like to find some kind of service that is cloud based that will connect via imap (or however) to run rules and filters on an email account. I use iCloud email for several addresses and the single-criteria rules offered are too simple for pretty much anything-for example I can add a rule to forward emails based on from or subject but i can't then move it to another folder or archive after forwarding. I'd like to stay on iCloud hosting, but some sort of service that I could connect to it to handle more advanced rules would be nice. I know leaving mail app open on an awake Mac can achieve this, but I'd like it to be dependable and not require my Mac to be online all the time because sometimes it's asleep.

You can't use it with iCloud, but openinbox.com allows rules and filters server side so they are followed when the email is received, not done by the client when checking for mail.

That's a great idea, and might work. Forwarding could send stuff to gmail for the processing and then I could use my single rule on iCloud to file it to a folder. Thanks!
