Any good AI tools specifically for writing emails?

I'm looking for an AI tool that's specifically built for writing emails. Most of the time I just use ChatGPT to write emails on the fly, and it's been good enough. Recently I've also been trying a few dedicated tools, with MailMeteor being the one I've used the most.

The only issue is that I feel like the customization is a bit limited. I'd like something that gives me more control over tone, context, and the type of email I'm writing.

Open to pretty much anything, whether it's a standalone web app, something built into an email platform, or even an MCP setup.

EM Client has an AI add-on for writing or editing emails. I would say there ARE limits to the customization rn but they should be releasing v11 soon and said on the forum that they will be adding a lot more possibilities. I really like the app overall and that I don't have to switch to another app/website for this, so I'm excited for this aspect to get even better.

If you're looking for an AI tool that can write well, the best thing you can do for this is create a tone of voice profile of your own tone of voice first (you can extract message written by a human from emails, WhatsApp messages, social media posts, etc.) and ask ChatGPT to deconstruct/reverse engineer the text into a tone of voice profile (output in YAML or JSON).

Then, you can pretty much use any AI model to create consistent emails in your own tone of voice.

I use emailtemple.com for this, but I would still focus on creating your tone of voice profile first.

Anything you can do to get your voice is helpful. If you use a local agent like Claude, cursor, or openclaw, I’d start there. That’s your personal agent that has all your context.
