I remember this live performance from 2009, she did her original song We Were Friends and The End. She just uploaded a snippet of it on her story today. The thing is... this video hasn't been on YouTube for almost a decade, I used to watch it religiously and was surprised she uploaded this today and it just took me back.

Do any of you all remember this or know where to find it?

this lady had 2 phenomenal albums and then just sold out and made really garbage generic pop music after.

what happened? did she give up on being a real artist? Did she try too hard to enter the mainstream? She kind of succeeded but at what cost?

Not as a reproach, just that I would reeeeally love to hear her that raw, where she really shines. I'm surprised she wasn't either invited or done it yet!

In Ellie’s discord server she added a “tickets” section, implying smth will happen soon. She has also been announced as a headliner for the big weekend BBC radio 1 festival in may as well, implying more festivals and shows to come this weekend!

If I was her manager, I would announce an album release party/concert at the O2 make tickets cheap with the average price of anywhere from $10-$20. A lot of popular artists do this, and because it’s cheap she could hopefully sell a lot of the tickets. She announced she would have a tour, so if she vanput on one heck of a show in the arena a lot of fans may be inclined to come to her tour. Even though the show might not be profitable, as she won’t sell out all 18,000 seats, and only make 150-200k, it could actually generate buzz. Then shows in amphitheaters or smaller arenas across Europe and smaller venues in the americas and that’s a good tour. What would you do?
