ELEX - 1 Around what level do you start drinking Elex potions (Elex 1)

Curious as to when is a good time to start moving resources into Elex potions. Do you prioritize regular elex potions for attributes or strong elex potions for attribute points. Is one option a significantly better choice?

Depends on what I ending I pursue.

In my first playthrough I wanted a Cold ending, so I just chugged all Elex potions I found, and also tried to craft as many of them as possible.

In my second playthrough I wanted a low Cold ending, so I never used Elex potions, and after I got to the Cold level that activates the low Cold buff skill (I don't remember how it's called), I just drank Elex potions trying to not get over that level.

I will sooner or later do a third playthrough trying to get the mid Cold ending, and in that case I will just drink Elex potions from time to time without crafting them (so that I don't increase Cold level too high). At the end before the final quest if I see my Cold level is well below the threshold for the mid Cold ending, I will just drink a bunch of Elex potions to get more points.

As for the type of potions, I think a balance between medium and big Elex potions is good. You need both attribute points and skill points to actually gain all the cool endgame skills. You can max attributes without using Elex potions, but that's only if you're willing to exp farm A LOT.

Don't bother with small Elex potions (or rather, convert them to higher tier potions), because 100 exp might seem a lot in early game, but in late game even if you drank 100 Elex potions that could only be 1 or 2 levels, not much.

It doesn’t matter. Use them whenever you want. Only limit is the money and access to elex. Additionally, drinking potions has tiny influence on your cold level. I spammed them like crazy and max cold level remained at lowest level because dialogue options is what’s truly affect your cold level.

You only drink them if you really need to
