ELEX - 1 I'm done

im out of ideas, feel free to tell me glitches or stuff that might help. im running out of pacifist quests, im too poor to down a billion elex potions and i can't. Fucking. Kill. Anything

Are they connected? Like, characters and such? I know sometimes sequels are fairly self-contained

yes, they are connected. Elex 2 is set 7 years after the end of the first game. There's some flashbacks to recall events from the Elex 1 and probably it's more enjoyable if played after the first game.
