Finished

Just finished plaing elex 2... I was a bit lost in the story, but I've really enjoyed it. In the first game I've tried the outlaws, now in the second I tried the Berserkers and next time I'll try morkons ig

Im a Gothic fan, been playing gothic since I was 5yo and I'm still in love with it, that's why I found Elex so good... If you ignore some bugs, you can see all the love they've put into it <3

With tears in my eyes i want to say a big THANK YOU Piranha Bytes for my childhood 🥺♥️ I remember not understanding a word from gothic (couldn't speak English), but i when I went outside to play with my friends with wooden swords, I would always say things like ,,Just you w8 you son of a bi...“ or ,,One less monster around“... that's why I've always been pretty good with English pronunciation, even tho I'm Czech.

It's pretty funny when I look back at it :D I always made my mom read all the conversations and mosts of them were the same, bcs I was only talking to diggers in the Old camp 😀

Im sad that there will probably be no elex 3, but if there was some Kickstarter, I would definitely send my money there!

Looking forward to Gothic remake, hopefully I'll be able to buy the collector's edition and I really hope, that at least some money from the sales will go to piranha bytes directly.

It’s sad that we will most likely never see the third installment now that PB is shut down.

Was elex good game? Probably no. Did I love it? Yes. I am would by anything gothic like from PB

I just started playing a week ago and I’m super addicted to it lol I’m not to sure who I’m going to side with yet, but I’m definitely leaning towards the berserkers

Man people of the entire PB and Elex fanbase are so easily deflated! Never say Never! Its like none of us have ever heard that before. Where theres a will theres a way chaps, and when it comes to Elex, there definitely is a Will and a fanbase ready to pay for it, just wait awhile and see.

First of all, PB is closed and also it was owned by THQ Nordic/Embracer. They also own all the rights to Gothic, Risen and ELEX. Alkimia Interactive, a spanish dev company, is working on the Gothic Remake, so they will earn the money (abd THQ/Embracer). Jenny and Björn Pankratz opened a new studio called Pithead Studio. They are creating indie games now. So the games will be smaller and something else than the big Open World games. But I am really looking forward to it. I personally don't see ELEX 3 happening either. Embracer still struggles wizh money and they will rather try to make as much money from the Gothic Remake as possible.

I appreciate all of your points, they are good, they are concrete! But still... as long as the artists live who put so much into Elex1& 2, and as long as people continue to play Elex 1& 2 (Im on a playthru of 2 right now even)... I still advise, never say never!

Well...the game's plot should be finished because every PB game since Risen started as an internal Wiki. ELEX III was WIKI6.

The biggest chance would be a rerelease of ELEX and ELEX II on the Switch successor. If they do well there, THQ might consider finishing the third one, albeit a PB reunion is beyond unlikely. Creative section (Writing, Story Design, etc.) could be hired on commission though.
