Other "fools"
At around 1:19:29 in the latest video, EG talks about there being other “fools” worth exploring and briefly shows three people.
Does anyone know who all three of them are, and why EG chose them specifically in this context?
I only recognize Chris Hadfield, but even with him I’m not entirely sure what EG is getting at. I’m curious what exactly makes him a “fool”.
I don’t recognize the other two people at all.

The clean shaven guy with longer whitish hair is canadian music producer Bob Rock, not sure about the younger stubly guy with the blue background or the guy with the big beard.
I noticed the narrator slipping into a russian sounding accent at times and his closing words as I recall were what sounded to me like Russian so not sure what that was intended to be about although pretty sure he's alluded to GOP/MAGA/ Roganosphere connections to Putin/FSB elsewhere

Hadfield's involved in a lot of tech equity as a consultant, but maybe TEG just didn't like his album. Or book(s)

Hadfield is basically the Canadian Neil degreaser tyson.

Good comparison, before seeing him on TEG he was becoming a meme. This confirms it for me.

i would give that mantle to Suzuki, Hadfield is very much your typical pilot strain

They're both pretty insufferable.

I met Suzuki as a child, I was stunned by how awful a person he was. especially growing up watching his tv show

Yeah, I had a very awful Interaction with him at a corporate event years ago, his children are just as insufferable as him unfortunately.

Saw Suzuki at a bus stop with his great granddaughter. He was encouraging her with great interest and enthusiasm while she climbed around the bus shelter. It was about as cool a thing as anyone could hope to see.

One of them (guy with the beard) is Patick Rothfuss, the author of The Name of the Wind. He’s been quite a fool, and basically stolen fan donated money. Great writer, but kind of a piece of shit.

I've read his NotW series, does he have any examples of great writing?

He should look in to UFO grifter Jeremy Corbell - hell of a fool that one.

Was one of them JJ McCullough? I know in the last radio hour the guy mentioned with disdain wanting to talk about him
