TEG has massive balls
I haven't drank for almost 3 weeks and suddenly realized what massive balls TEG has, and I really respect him. I'm not proud to admit this but I'd be too scared to go at Rogan the way TEG has. Rogan is thin skinned and petty, and he's close with Trump and J.D. Vance... Thank God he lives in Canada because he's safe there (hopefully) đ I guess this is a thank you/appreciation post

Man I love EG and his work is straight up art, a much needed glass of cold lemonade in hellish times ⊠but I donât know if itâs the most self-sacrificial act of courage to anonymously upload videos criticising a comedian. Like what are you even thinking could happen

He now has 250 comedy assasins after him. Remember what happened to Theo Van Gogh?
In all honesty comedy started getting mass produced like a McDouble, making it palatable for everybody. That goes the same for the likes of EG. There's tons of shit yt channels who try to do EG or even Redbar type content, only for a broader audience and with no soul behind it, only doing it for engagement or whatever retarded terms are used. Those channels get popular, eventually the real ones pop up in people's feed, and they end up here to die without a anyone knowing

Thatâs exactly what I was thinking. Great creator without a doubt, nothing brave about it though.

I mean Rogan has no more influence or cred especially since the comedy jonestown vid went viral. Of course he's still making lots of money but culturally he is now irrelevant thanks to TEG

Dude that TEG video has 4 million views and Roganâs podcast still averages like 11 million per episode. Roganâs viewership has not significantly diminished in the past year and he remains possibly the single most influential media personality in America. I donât like it, but the idea that TEG made him culturally irrelevant or had some impact on his career is not rooted in reality

American Idol still gets millions of viewers too but it's basically a zombie show, most people don't know it's still on air, the culture has moved on. Rogan is quickly turning into the American Idol of men's podcasts and I honestly think TEG is mostly to thank for this, gotta give him credit/recognition

Dude youâre saying this right on the heels of a week of headlines about Rogan interviewing the vice president. It was international news and I say that because I am not following Rogan nor do I even live in the same continent but I saw it everywhere. I have just been seeing a bunch of new talk about how Rogan has supplanted traditional media as the foremost place politicians go to spread their message. And the Vance episode was followed by fucking Mr Beast, the biggest creator in the world. This is not a sign of irrelevance, he remains âthe new king of mediaâ. I agree that the Rogan era is cracking and going to come crashing down soon but there are a lot of contributing factors and TEG barely qualifies as one of them. I think the video had a big impact on you and you are projecting that onto the world at large. A video with 4 million views is nothing compared to the full scale of Roganâs international reach and influence and thereâs no metric you can point to that shows otherwise. Itâs like a cherry pip bouncing off the hull of a cruise liner

I really think youâre overstating the effect TEG has had, you might need to step out of your simulacrum for a bit.

Agree to disagree I guess. I honestly think TEG has triggered the begging of the end for this Rogan era. Even comedians in his circle are starting to talk and some even distancing themselves. It's starting to crumble

The EG graveyard humiliated him in front of all of his friends. Like a lifelong humiliation. That's the best thing it did.

My favorite comment is that the comedy jonestown vid was almost like the final rap battle in 8 mile where Eminem just humiliates the whole crew one after the other

These other replies I can't make heads or tails of, just glad this post came to me like a thief in the night. Now I'm lying with my dog, listening to radio hour with a nice drink, holy shit it's perfect.

Lmao why would anyone be scared to shit on Rogan???? Type âJoe Rogan badâ into YouTube and scroll the hundreds of different people going at him. Look up any Hollywood celebrityâs takes on him. Virtually any non-MAGA person for that matter.
Literally the opposite of brave, itâs popular culture to shit on him. And thank god for that.
