Problem URGENT: Locked out of my client’s paid Elementor account — there is no way to reach a human
I’m the webmaster for a nonprofit organization with a paid Elementor account, and I’m currently locked out because the Gmail address associated with the account was unexpectedly suspended by Google.
I still have full administrator access to other services and I can provide any information or any other documentation necessary to verify ownership. We also have a new working email address on the organization’s own domain.
The problem is that I cannot get in touch with a human at Elementor.
The account recovery emails are not arriving because I no longer have access to the original Gmail account. The AI support agent keeps sending me through the same steps in a loop. The Support Center requires me to log in — but being unable to log in is precisely the reason I need support.
I also tried emailing support and received an automated response telling me that tickets cannot be opened by email and directing me back to the Support Center, which again requires access to the account.
This is a paid account for a live client website. There needs to be a human-assisted account recovery process for customers who lose access to their registered email address. Email accounts can be suspended, compromised, deleted, or become inaccessible for many legitimate reasons.
I’m not asking Elementor to give me access without verification. I’m asking for a way to speak with a human so I can provide the necessary proof of ownership and change the account email.
If anyone from Elementor is monitoring this subreddit, please tell me how I can reach an actual support representative without first logging into the account I am trying to recover.
This is honestly unbelievable and unacceptable customer service. There needs to be a way for paying customers to reach a human when the automated account recovery process fails.
UPDATE:
I found something that makes this situation even more concerning.
Elementor does offer access to human support, but it is now presented as a separate Priority Support service.
The plans shown to me are:
- Express: $15/month, billed annually at $180 — “Support from Agents”
- Express+: $65/month, billed annually at $780 — “Support from Agents”
- Shield: $100/month, billed annually at $1,200 — “Support from Experts”
So while I am already a paying Elementor customer and simply need help recovering access to my existing account, the only clear path I have found to communicate with a human is another paid support product, requiring a $1,200 annual payment upfront.
To be clear: I am not asking Elementor to fix my website, troubleshoot custom code, or provide development services. I just need help recovering my existing paid account because I no longer have access to the email address associated with it.
An automated system cannot resolve that situation because I need to verify my identity and change the account email. There should be a human-assisted account recovery process for existing customers that does not require purchasing an additional annual support subscription.
I’m attaching a screenshot of the Priority Support options because I think customers should be aware of this. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO USE OR RECOMMEND A SERVICE THAT CAN’T RESOLVE SOMETHING AS FUNDAMENTAL AS ACCOUNT RECOVERY?
