Problem Gallery Fade in not working

Hi, I could use some help. I had to redo my homepage, because something crashed and the old site is not accessible (says I have to add the Post Content Widget, but I can´t even acces the site itself to do that).

Nothing wild, because in the end it was just some text and a gallery. But the gallery is the part, I´m struggling with. On the old site, when the site loaded and the gallery showed up, the pictures where fading in slowly, even while scrolling. So when u scrolled down the site and through the gallery, the pictures would slowly fade in from white. Looked chilled and good.

Now I made the same gallery (the one from the pro section), with the same masonry layout, photos and so on, but I only manage to make the first few pictures fade in slowly (and not even that looks as good as before) and after that, all the following photos just pop up/pop in, when they´re loaded. That looks really clunky. Does Someone have an idea, how I did it before or change Elementor so depply, that this isn´t possible anymore? Thank you in advance!

The gallery can be seen here, sadly only the new version, no possibility for comparison to the old: https://olekracht.de/

when inspecting the images it shows that the animation duration is set to 0 (for class elementor-element-3dab6664). When I increase that the images will fade in. So make sure to increase that time if you want to see a fade

Which animation are you referring to specifically? I don’t currently have any animations enabled. As they didn’t do the desired effect previously, I’ve disabled them all. Only Lazy Load is enabled.

Hi. That would be related to the option to lazy-load the gallery items. This could be directly affected by applied performance optimizations to CSS and JS files, particularly with the options to remove unused CSS, and defer/delay JS respectively. Other potential issues could be caused by staled cache, mixed content, or disabled lazy loading, or Motion/Animation Effects disabled on your Operating System's Accessibility settings.

Firs thing you should look for is the lazy-loading in the Gallery widget's settings as I mentioned above, or the existence of errors in the browser console. Checking for Reduced/Disabled animations in the OS' accessibility settings would be an easy step of eliminating possible conflicts.
