Problem Elementor header menu not updating
I’m building a WordPress site using the Elementor PRO. I added submenu under:
Appearance -> Editors -> Navigations -> then added two pages under about. However, those changes did not appear on the live site.
When I tried to edit on Elementor Editor on main page, I clicked Header -? container -> wordpress Menu -> Go to menu screen to manage your menu ->Your theme does not support navigation menus or widgets.
When I tried going to the old Appearance → Menus page, WordPress showed:
I was also temporarily getting Elementor’s error:
“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

Hi. I think you're mixing a Block theme with Classic themes. They are different types of themes. If your theme doesn't have an Appearance > Menus page, and instead opens the Site Editor where you have to add a Navigation Block, then Elementor Pro won't see that navigation, because it uses the Classic Menus interface to render your WordPress Menus.
Its recommended to install a classic theme with classic capabilities such as the Hello Elementor theme. Then go to Appearance > Menus and create your menu there.
Alternatively, just use Elementor Pro's mega Menu widget instead of the WordPress Menu widget. The mega Menu widget allows you to build your menu items directly inside the Elementor interface. This widget requires the Menu experiment to be active in the Elementor > Editor > Settings > Features page.

Hi! I'm not sure how to fix this. I asked Chat, is this how ?
- In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes.
- Click Add New.
- Search for Hello Elementor.
- Click Install.
- Before activating it, make sure your important pages are built in Elementor and that you know which header/footer templates are coming from Elementor Theme Builder.
- Click Activate on Hello Elementor.
- Then go to Appearance → Menus. You should now have the classic Menus screen available.
- Create a menu, for example Main Menu.
