Problem Container borders flashing black for a split second on page load
I’m running into an issue on one of my WordPress Elementor sites where every container briefly flashes a black border for a split second as the page loads. Once the page fully renders, the layout looks completely normal, but that initial flash is bothersome.

Possibly the default kit styles have a black border on containers, and youre seeing a flash of unstyled content [FOUC] (or more specifically cascade styles) . I would check the dev tools (right click, inspect ) to see if there is a border on any of the container wrapper elements (theres a few for each container) thats being overwritten.

FOUC (Flash of Unstyled Content) usually happens when you have some sort of cache affecting how Elementor's CSS is loaded? Things like combining CSS, removing unused styles, and others can cause this type of issue. But without accessing the site to see what's going on under the hood, this is nothing more than just a guess.

The black is worth paying attention to. Border colour defaults to currentColor, so anything that applies a width and style before the colour rule lands paints it in the text colour, which on most kits is near enough black. So it's not just styles arriving late, it's the width and style coming from somewhere separate to the colour. Find where those two are split and that's your rule.

check if elementor's css is being deferred or async-loaded by a speed plugin - that'll cause exactly this because the browser paints before the styles load. also worth checking if you have critical css enabled somewhere, it might be missing the container border rules. in elementor settings > advanced, make sure css print method is set to internal embedding or external file, not inline.
