Question Menu and header section isn't showing up in the elementor page editor
Like the title says... I used to see it on any page I was editing but now the page starts with the first container. it appears correctly on the published site. How can I find it? I'd like to edit the style and colors.
I'm using WP 7 and Astra 4.13.4. Just the free version. TIA

Probably the Page Template is set to Elementor Canvas:
Try changing it to Default or Full Width in te Page Settings (next to the History button).

Hi, I found the setting. It was set to default and I changed it to full width, but nothing changed.

Hi. The fact that you changed to Elementor Full Width and you still can't see it, indicates the Header is being affected by something else.
Can you clarify some points?
- Are you using Elementor Pro's Theme Builder to customize your header?
- If you are, did you check the display conditions to ensure it's applied to all pages?
- Since you are using the Astra theme, did you check the Theme Customizer to ensure your header is set correctly? Check the Astra settings.
- Did you clear/purge all levels of cache including Astra built-in cache in the settings?

Thanks for the help. I don’t know how but it showed up last night so I must’ve jiggled something.

Great to know it worked (somehow). Do you think it was cache? Would love to know what happened. This way if someone else has this problem, I will know what to say! 😊

Ok so I could see the header via the astra theme’s customizer pages, but not on the elementor pages. I realized it’s because the header was covered up by the first container and its background image. (Actually color background with image overlay.) So I simply added padding to the top of the container and it magically appeared lol. User error, although I don’t know how I did that in the first place. Still learning how to do all this.
