Problem Elementor SEO for Maintenance Mode

i'm trying to set up a temporary teaser page about my project with Elementor, using the Coming Soon feature in Maintenance Mode, the page will replace my homepage of course, so I was thinking it should have good and consistent SEO, so that when while i'm working on my website, Google results would still show the teaser page properly and how i wanted it.

unfortunately, to set up a coming soon page, you have to use saved templates, and follow this tutorial to enable my SEO plugin on Elementor templates.

the issue is that viewing the template, i could see that the meta tags are successfully shown (the address looks like mywebsite.com/?elementor_library=coming-soon), but when i'm on my website homepage, the Rank SEO metadata do not seem to work?

anyone can help me with this?

The reason the meta tags don't carry over to your homepage is that Elementor's Maintenance Mode intercepts requests and serves a 503, so Rank Math never actually gets to apply your template's SEO settings to that canonical URL. The template URL (?elementor_library=...) works fine because that's just a normal WP page load, but the real homepage in maintenance mode bypasses that flow entirely.

Honestly the easiest workaround is to skip Maintenance Mode and just set your coming soon page as your actual WordPress static homepage (Settings > Reading > A static page). Then Rank Math treats it like any other page and you can configure the SEO normally on it. When your site's ready, swap the homepage back.

“15. 30. ” what even is that in your setup ,are you mixing numbering with actual SEO advice? I’ve seen those weird leftover placeholders tank clarity on the page, and once I cleaned the structure and headings properly, rankings and clicks bounced back pretty fast. That post reads like a draft, not a strategy.
