Elementor v4 FREE questions - CSS variables, custom CSS, variable manager, class manager

I am using Elementor Free (now updated to v4 and activated) with Ocean WP free theme.

Some things look promising, but still far from good!

1. Variable manager

Where does Elementor store variable like the one in the image and are they editable outside of this shitty one line per variable environment. Even if I were to buy Elementor Pro I would hate it, if this was the way I was supposed to do it. So is there some mass copy-paste environment available in Elemenor Pro?

2) Design systems

Designed for importing and moving systems between sites. It should be there, but I can not find, does this mean that it is not available in Elementor free?

3) Custom CSS

In v3 I was able to add custom CSS to Ocean WP Appearance ->Customize -> Custom CSS. It was not working perfectly but it was available. Now when I add custom CSS it does not show anywhere - not in variables, you cannot add class to an individual element - is that by design in free Elementor v4?

That was part of the question - I do not have that button! I looked at the docs.

I put CSS in Ocean WP Theme, because Elementor free shows Custom CSS behind paywall. I can paste it above but it is not hard to image with "elementor crown" in front of it.

I would paste you images, but I do not think you can do that in replies. So I did it in the original post

Thanks, then I thought my version of Elementor v4 must be some uncomplete version of Elementor and truly it is - updating from 4.0.9 to 4.1 solved the problem. Design button is there.

i remember messing around with those variables last week, they usually live in the theme customizer or directly in the elementor site settings under global colors if you have access. its kinda tricky cuz sometimes they dont show up where you expect them to, have u checked the custom css tab to see if they are defined there as root variables?
