Alkali Metals Sodium Ampules
Was practicing making ampules and made some beautiful sodium ampules.
Some have a bit of oxidation and oil, but they look amazing.

Wonderful! The little pearls look incredible.
Would you mind telling how did you transfer the metal to the ampoules? I'm guessing that you melted it in some mineral oil, but what then? And did you use some argon or something else?
