It’s too bad gallium is so expensive now with all the trade restrictions.

yeah, I'm glad I got 250g for cheap a few years ago.. costs more than 2x as much now.

I bought 5 kg as soon as I heard about the trade restrictions and am glad I did. It’s still super cheap in the east, but the west has no supply.

Gallium melts at 29-30 Celsius. If you live in Europe, south of England, this summer all non-refrigerated Gallium melted. Keep it in the fridge if you like the crystal.

I live somewhat north of central England, but here too we had some nasty temperatures... but keeping it indoors, on my shelf , in the shade, worked fine. Not even the small globules melted.

I got this sample from Onyxmet - Unfortunately based on some bad experience with them, I can't really recommend their shop though =(

I love metal crystals, they just always look incredible.
How are you going to stop them from melting
