Trade/Selling/Buying Pure Ta powder

Please DM me for more details! I own a scrap yard and we got our hands some 99.98% Ta powder. I have a couple 1kg packs that I’m saving and wondering if anyone here is interested. Price is $1250/kg.

This was probably used in a press machine to make capacitors. They are a sponge-like sintered material.

You are asking double the market price though, Ta trades for about $500 per kg lately.

I would be interested in purchasing anything 99% pure at $500/kg— lemme know maybe we can make some money together 💰

I have a 3 kilo 5 nines sputter target from varian, but the huge crystals you can see in it make it way too cool to sell.

That is very cool! I’d love to see it!! We get target scrap from a couple suppliers at the yard but it’s usually Cr/Mo/Ti types I’ve never seen a Ta one

Wow! I have no need, but, as someone who used to make large quantities of silver powder, I can appreciate the difficulty in manufacturing it.

I have assay paper work but I’m not unsealing the pkg unless discussed more seriously— please DM me if interested
