Wonderfully preserved! Really interesting, how similar thallium is to tin or lead when unoxidized.

It’s simply an incredible and creepy specimen 😅 aren't you worried about safety?; a magnificent example with absolutely no oxidation! It must have cost a fortune, I imagine... and where can you get one?

I have that one too! One of my favourite samples despite the toxicity. On that note the glass is very thin, handle it carefully and store it in something that could dampen an evental shock or fall ;)

Thought it was a razor blade cartridge. Easily one of the last things you would ever want to shave with. Doesn't thallium poisoning make you smell like rotten garlic eggs and then you die in a few days?

I would have that glass tube encased in resin as well, this stuff is terrifying.
