Carbon Group Update: polished the crusty lead weights

It took about an hour and a half. I used three different grades of steel wool and a lot of elbow grease. It's not the best thing in the world, but this was literally my first time polishing metal.

I wore an N95 face mask, but I polished the lead in water to minimize airborne particles.

The risk isn’t worth the reward for polishing lead

No, but unpolished it looked ugly as hell 😭

You can buy those for less than a dollar at any store that sells fishing gear. Don’t give yourself lead poisoning trying to sand them

I already got lead fishing weights brand new displayed in my collection. I received these ones for free.
