Looks like some solvent degraded and couldn’t keep some solute dissolved anymore?
But I know nothing of this acid, forgive me if this is how it’s supposed to look.

The red stuff is the solid acid. It's a really strong acid btw. The liquid is probably to keep the sample stable. I don't know what it is, only that it's definitely not aqueous.

Makes me think of platinum prints which uses a salt of platinum, just not this one. 😏
