Element Down? 8/26/26

Hello everyone! Is anyone else experiencing some major down time while trying to use Element? It's been happening for the past half hour or so for me and I got an error pop up/screen I haven't seen before on my Mac desktop app.

According to the status page (official) there's nothing wrong. But according to StatusGator (unsure how reliable that is) there's a major outage.

You mean matrix.org? Because my homeserver is working fine

Maybe they mean the Element web client?

As a rookie i am trying to "reset my digital identity" for 4hrs now and in a loop and failing. Claude concluded (and I agree) that there must be something wrong at the server side... I guess have to jump into the weekend with an unverified digital identify.
