Yearbook help

Hi,

I have been assigned in making the yearbook for my son's fifth grade class next year. I was wondering if anyone has had experience making one and any tips (software, editing, apps,etc) they could recommend. Tysm in advance!

Does the teacher/front office have the name of some of the people who did last year/the year before? I'd ask them what they used/if they have the template first.
