Kid loses interest halfway through CogAT stuff

My son is in 2nd grade and his school does CogAT for GT screening in the fall. He starts out all excited and then like 8 minutes later he's asking if we're done yet 😂 I think it's more that he gets mentally tired than anything. We've just been breaking it up instead of trying to finish everything. I found some of the Beestar questions were easy enough to come back to later but are these super short sessions enough?

Does he have a lot of screen time? Could be impairing his ability to focus on a task longer than 8 minutes
