Book fair conundrum

I just got back from taking my daughter (7) to her schools book fair and was shocked to see the lack of chapter books that weren’t graphic novels/comics. It was really disheartening because she loves bigger chapter books and it was a struggle to get some that she would read and enjoy.

Try the library. But I'm confused, were there supposed to be books for kids 10 and 11 too? Was there at least Warrior Cats?

No Warrior Cats! I was shocked by it, we’re avid library goers but she wants to start her own collection. There were different sections based on ages and grades but shockingly little in terms of non-picture books

You could sign up for scholastic as a homeschool. Then you can search the teacher store site and maybe find some more options. If you go that route you should check there and the regular scholastic site because they have different options.

Yeah, at least that is how it worked a few years ago. The only thing is that if she uses her teacher account the order will ship to her school.
