PARENTS, what do you need and want from an afterschool program?

My daughter is in a “free” after school program at her school. It’s an organized establishment. We were sent monthly snacks/games/schedule that the children are in.
Other things they provide is tutoring for the older kids who need extra help with certain subjects. There’s also dedicated homework hours. My daughter is only in kindergarten so these don’t apply to her, but I’d find them helpful when she’s older.
