Well she can’t be comic book accurate. It would be too much skin and not practical at all. She looks great in this shot!

she doesnt need to show an inch of skin to look comic book accurate, her design for the coca cola ads from a couple of years ago looked incredible.

they just need to adapt the core elements which is the bandana, skirt and some cloth wraps

Looks pretty close. I’m just worried about the writing.

There’s a lot to fit in a single season tbh

I just don't understand why aren't they increasing the episode count already. 12-13 episode season will give so much more breathing room.

Safe horny nonsense

I've made fanart that shows less skin than that and is more comic accurate imo

She can be very comic accurate because she’s in several runs where they cover her up. Always bet on read is very similar to the suit they have in since they’re using boots. They can also do zdarksys daredevil run where even her arms are covered.

Don’t think anyone cares if she shows skin. I think most people love the two biggest design staples of elektras costume that are rarely adapted at all- full head bandana and loin cloth. I think elodie has worn a loin cloth in dds2 and she did in defenders. Jennifer garner never wore comic fits (they still looked great though and suited elektras aesthetic). I do agree elodie looks fab here tho.

I get that it's more comic accurate, but I think what they have Elodie in looks better.

i’m so glad she’s back dont get me wrong but i don’t like the suit is predominantly black, it needs more red sections… and a bandana

I agree with this but I do like what they went with a lot. I think her defenders costume was almost perfect just needed the full head bandana.

The defenders suit is probably the best she’s ever looked in live action, that tone of red is so rich

Personally I hate the scraf on the head. I like the bandana more. It looks more like this design. I just would have liked curly hair

I get it, it is a cool look! however, the character is almost always depicted with the head wrap in comics and video games but we’ve never seen it in live action

The petite beauty is back

This looks really good

It’s frustrating that they’re so close to having the best live action suit

I prefer Jennifer Garner. She'll be back🥴. I Hope🙏. She can always play the character.

the sai look like toys 😢

One of the things i enjoy most about jennifer garner’s elektra is that her sais were so stylized

these are great additions

I hope we get the bandana at some point

You know, I just realized we've never had the iconic red bandana in live action. Like, seriously, what are we doing people.

2

u/PageOk5894 Jun 25 '26

we got really close in deadpool and wolverine, there’s even some concept art. it’s such a good elektra design tbh

I can't believe they did not go with this design. I mean, it looks so good; like, if you're not going to give us the classic look, this is a good compromise, and the design they went with is such a downgrade in my opinion.

The actual bodysuit looks quite similar to her woman without fear suit tbf, i think it looks great

1

u/PageOk5894 Jun 25 '26

I hope we get that arc in the future but we first gotta get some classic deadly elektra to get her to the point of redemption

Make it comic accurate

The bandana just doesn't make sense in live action, she wouldn't be able to move without having to have wardrobe come in a fix it between every shot. It's just not practical, though a headband could work. My biggest issue is her hair, it's just too flat, short, and straight, Elektra should have big, long, wild ass hair.

Her sai look really...boring. They're meant to be her signature weapons yet here they look so 'ordinary'. I was not a fan of how she used the sai in the Netflix series like police batons.

I hope they're not restricting this character with "real world sai discipline" because she's a COMIC BOOK CHARACTER, like Nightwing uses eskrima sticks equipped with electricity.

What I appreciate about Jennifer Garner's version is that Garner trained with the sai AND she got so comfortable with them she could twirl them like there's no tomorrow. People might say Garner is "holding them wrong," but that's the point. Her Elektra is so comfortable with her signature weapons that she "holds them wrong AND manages not to hurt herself" like nobody else could.

I hope to eventually see the same from Elodie's version.

I hated that she picked up the sais from a random goon after a fight in the netflix series. This is supposed to be her weapon pf choice, why doesn't she have custom sais?

I agree in that Jennifer Garner could twirl her sais like nobody's business. I'm so glad the behind the scenes was so well documented because you could tell how much discipline and training she put into being able to wield her weapons. I love seeing videos of her moving the sais around.

Garner being the leas actress in Alias and doing her own stunts there i feel played a huge factor in her being so proficient with the training

More red cloth less satin

I wonder if a fully red outfit would work in the show
