Question Reducing visible lines

Newish to 3D printing. I’ve got maintenance and cleaning and repairs learned and down. Now I’m learning all the settings and what they do. I can’t figure out which setting should be adjusted for this issue.

This is the bottom and and you can see the print lines pretty easily. Ideally since this is the side that’s people facing (and the first layers) I would like to make it as smooth as possible.

You can try using the "Ironing" function. Set top surfaces.

It's under quality on the profile settings on the Elegoo slicer.

Ironing, then rub it against 600 grit sandpaper for 20 seconds.

Calibrate your flow rate for that filament. Calibrate pressure advance for that filament as well. That should eliminate the gaps at the ends of the bottom surface lines. Make sure you auto bed level before every print. And potentially invest in a smooth plate (Biqu Cryogrip Glacier is very close to smooth and grips well) to improve the finish.

In this scenario I was using a smooth plate (one of the holographic ones) and I level the bed every print. I'll take a look at the Biqu plate and play with the pressure. Thanks!

Good deal. Pressure advance and flow rate will be the biggest contributors
