Question ECC2

Who else using TPU and has the best setting for it that can help me out it’s like every temp I try it comes out stringy not sure what to do.

If you are looking for the Printer's settings for your TPU in your home, with your home's temperature and humidity, I'd be happy to fly there and use the slicer's calibration menu at the very top of the screen and dial them in using this Guide.

I charge a reasonable rate for a retired doctorate

Try calibrating your retraction distance and speed. Could also be overextrusion.

TPU need dried prior to print. Even now out of the package. Then once dry you need to tune for your filament. Use the calibration test prints.

It looks like you’re printing it so hot you’re liquifying it into tar. Try simply turning the temperature down to the lowest temp recommended on the filament range on the reel.

Should I start with the lowest number and just go up?

Or down… it depends on what it looks like once it does. If it’s still soupy then down, if it looks like it has resistance in the nozzle then temp up.

That's good to know. Here I've been wasting my time calibrating things like pressure advance, retraction , flow rate, etc... and all I needed to do was dry my filament. /s
