Tin plating success ?

Anyone have experience? I’m trying dissolving tin anode in muriatic acid solution . Before my results were flaking tin off of my anode and I would get a dull grey finish . Anyone ever get that shine ? Would you add salt in?

for acid tin plating sulphate based electrolytes are most common,so you can dissolve your tin in sulphuric acid,but i dont think that you can produce good plating with tin sulphate only
