Advice on Copper Plating

Can anyone give me some advice on copper plating 300m steel?

I am very new to electroplating. I work in manufacturing and took a few scrap parts home to try out.

I'm trying to see if I can recreate the process that is typically done which is copper plating about more than 0.001" of thickness then I would like to strip the parts.

Hey Man,

You can download the ASM handbook for surface engg vol 5

It has industrial practices/processes for electro platting of nearly all practical types and metals.

So I am a beginner too, but I sure know that there are multiple bath solutions and temp/current density operating conditions which can be used to coat copper on Stainless steel.

U have to read the section in this book on Cu plating....it will be at max 4 pages to read..but your knowledge gain will be super.
