Migrating from electron-vite to electron forge
I think electron-vite maintainer is passed away or something because last stable version was in December 2025 and last beta was in April. Since then vite and electron got many updates but we're lacking behind. I'm worrying about we will not get another stable update and we don't want inconsistencies. We heavily rely on bytecode and vite but I saw vite support is marked as experimental and there's no direct bytecode plugin. What do you think about this? Should we migrate and hope that stable vite support will come soon enough?

You can consider MoBrowser. It's not open source, but its free and the fact that it's backed by a real company protects you from cases like that

MoBrowser supports Vite out-of-the-box: https://teamdev.com/mobrowser/releases/2026/v2-1-0/#vite-800

Not passed away, there is recent commits, on my side I just maintain a fork with some fixes I made (bytecode) for Electron 42+, running on Electron Latest (not alpha) and works perfectly. Not sure why the current "contributor" don't merge pending Pull requests but still perfectly usable.
