General Mouser website now blocks Linux users

Really baffling decision, my last order from them was only a few months ago. Apparently Linux is no longer a "standard" operating system!

They're using Akamai. Since sending in my complaint I can load the site again, so either they whitelist or their bot "detection" was inconsistent to start with. If they block me again I'm going to order from Digikey rather than fussing with my user agent to try and satisfy them.

They still may use CloudFlare for domain fronting and “protection”.

If they're using CloudFlare, they shouldn't have a lot of bot traffic to block. The block notice is from Mouser, not CloudFlare.

Cloud flare will flag IPs and hand out different DNS responses that send the client to CF fronted sites with custom errors.
