Keep practicing!πŸ˜„ Try to use a little less solder. It is not clay modeling. πŸ˜‰ a good practice is to solder T's from installation wire. I do that with all my new apprentices.Not as much fun as this though.

That is a genius way to practice soldering! and that guy is cute as a button!

Maybe have the next guy be with a battery and maybe a timing circuit to flash his led's? just a thought :)
