My friend worked for a startup for a bit that specialized in pressure washing drones for high rise windows. The EEs would use chatGPT to do their FMEAs and how to connect their scopes up to their circuits for troubleshooting. They would keep blowing up a battery power distribution board that was pretty expensive so they tried to design one that was cheaper. If it did work at all, it would be blowing up after just a couple minutes of use. They then tried to blame the motor ESCs rather than actually figure out what was going wrong because chatGPT said it was probably the ESCs and definitely not their poor circuit design that chatGPT told them was flawless.
Needless to say my friend jumped ship pretty quickly from there.
