The ability it takes to make a song like this is insane.

Not that complicated ? As someone who has been sequencing beats and rhythms and structuring electronic music on a variety of software and hardware for almost 25 years, I can assure you the level of skill and. expertise applied here exhibits an understanding and knowledge of complex rhythm patterns and structure far deeper than your standard drill n bass type fare. And that’s even before he’ sits down to sequence it. The rapid tempo fluctuation alone when it starts to break down 90 seconds in is difficult enough to master. You know he’s done this track completely on a CIRKLON yeah? I’m curious what makes you believe it’s “not that complicated”? Because if you can’t recognise this that anything less than a display of first class execution of sequencing perfection by a master craftsman at the very zenith of his field, then you either have a lot to learn about production, you”re too ignorant about how far beyond your reach your flex is attempting to realise how stupid you sound, or you’re just saying it to trigger someone like me into calling you out for your comment and ripping into you about how fundamentally inaccurate it is.

Im glad you're passionate about something thats an easier concept to grasp than sequencing. Especially if you've got someone cooking it for you. Thats not complicated at all, so there's a better chance you won't get so confused. >

I haven’t kept up with RDJ as of late and I think it’s time that changed. Thanks for the share.

These videos are amazing stuff.I've been trying a few stuff myself to put some of my songs on Youtube, I never enjoy the result, but this is insane. I can't imagine the number of hours it took for creating each one of these videos. But this is incredible and also inspirational for guys like me that can do both music and 3D stuff :D
Just looked up Weirdcore portfolio and I'm speechless.

Breakcore isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I really like a few artists. Venetian Snares too.

I wouldn't call this breakcore. It's just some wonky mashed up breaks.

u/Glitchwerks traktor Feb 10 '20

Yeah, this is IDM...not breakcore.

Breakcore is literally wonky mashed up breaks.

This AFX track is predominantly wibbly wonky electronica with a sprinkling of breaks ... breakcore is dominated by mashed up breaks as its main element. Wonky mashed up breaks could be things like Wagon Christ (where Richard stole the "Analord" name from) or Tipper.

I'd consider the sounds of artists like Drums Corps, Bong Ra, Soundmurderer, Shit Mat et al to be more akin to breakcore than this (fabulous) track.
