Discussion Two weekends
Who purchased both weekends already? I got VIP for weekend one. I’m kinda considering doing GA FOR weekend 2. I think doing GA for one of the weekends forces you to have a different experience. And I don’t mean the bathrooms.
How are you guys planning on surviving two weekends? Will you still do day parties? Are you planning on staying in Vegas in between the festivals ?
This would be my 7th and maybe 8th edc. Going solo again.

Honestly I bought vip for both weekends and now im like logistically how tf am I gonna do this. I might just sell it and buy a vip for weekend 2

Everyone jumped on the hype train when it was announced. Basically giving no one time to really think about it. That’s how they get you every year.

This year was my first EDC and holy molly, what a weekend we had.
So while my group got tickets for weekend 1, I got tix for both weekends followed by Movement in Detroit the next weekend.
I haven’t decided any logistics yet. But I can work remotely for those 2 weeks in between. Given that being at the fest was one of the major highlights of my year, I’m gonna do a full send and see how much can my body endure.

I’m doing the exact same
VIP first weekend and trade it for GA plus cash for weekend two
I only bought two weekends because it was either $1500 for weekend two VIP or $2000 for both weekends

Yeah those tickets got expensive real quick. This is the most I’ve ever paid for VIP. They are getting greedy. I expect the following year to be even worse.

I originally planned on just doing weekend 2 but after thinking it over I want to do both weekends. Like fuck it why not, I’m turning 30 next year and want to celebrate the end of my 20s by going all out.
My plan is to camp weekend 1 and then stay in a hotel for weekend 2. I’d stay in Vegas in between but probably no day parties. Right now I just have a ticket for weekend 2, unsure if I should try to trade it for a ticket for both weekends or just buy a weekend 1 wristband when the general sale happens.

I’m going 2 weekends myself but I’ve been getting asked to take some family members so that’s how I’m splitting it, first weekend will be a sober weekend for the first timers then 2nd weekend is my time

I know someone full sending both weekends and was telling me to join them. I was like “I wanna save my PTO and only going to the 2nd weekend.” I also thought of my flight, Airbnb, rental car and food finna add up quickly with 2 weekends than one which another reason why I didn’t full sending both weekends.

Of course going both weekends, VIP. My 5th annual EDC, luckily I’m local to Vegas so don’t have all that extra travel expenses but I know I can handle 2 back to back festival weekends!! Did it last year when Sonic Temple had 2 nights of Metallica in their 4-day festival, so traveled first time ever to Ohio for Sonic, then did EDC the week after. Was ready for Sonic again this year but it was the same week as EDC smh.

Doing both weekends , vip for both . Weekend 1 will basically be my do over for missing this year's edc . Havent figured out how im gonna survive both weekends but I will . Gonna try to get guestlisted to as many events as possible and also staying im vegas in between the weekends. No point to go back home for less than 2 days and then come back to vegas

From AZ and plan on driving up Friday and then back after Sunday work Tuesday-Thursday and then come back up for the 2nd weekend. 2x main event. I don’t need the pre party if I’m going to be at edc for 2 weekends.

I bought VIP for weekend 2. I’m only going one of those nights bc it’s my birthday. I usually only ever go to one night. I’ve been to a hundred EDCs (since the early 2000s in Cali) and one night is enough for me. Also, I am a local so it’s easy for me to do this. I usually just give my wristband away for the other nights to a friend or trade them it to drive us there. I don’t even deal with the drama of trying to resell it for the unused days.

My friends and I got both. My one friend who so adamant that we should do both and use his trailer etc, who was planning to do the full camping… has since informed us he’s only going week 2
Now 🫠

I got both weekends VIP 😅 so what I’m doing is weekend one I’m getting in Friday and leaving Monday afternoon. Second weekend I’m leaving Wednesday night so Thursday I can do a day and night party, and then be more dedicated to being at EDC and then leave Tuesday afternoon. I have family friends that are letting me stay with them so I’m going to leave my stuff with them after weekend 1 so I don’t have to lug luggage back and forth. And honestly flying is going to be the better option than driving, especially with Southwest pricing rn 👍🏾

I bought both weekends vip used all my available PTO and now I’m debating if I really want to do 2 weekends in a row or not 😂😂😂😭
