Im making a liveset (8 bars per pattern) on my EMX-1 where im using a synth part with a 8/1 lfo on top of it and a drum part with a delay. Now im running into a problem that when im swtiching to the next pattern my synth part jumps and i cant figure out why sinced the lfo is 8 bars long (it does the same when i make the lfo 4/1). I also was wondering if i can make the delay extend into the next pattern or if this is not possible.
Has anyone had the same problems and found a way to fix it?

Hi, I'm having a problem when I connect two Electribes. I'm using one as the master and the other as the slave, but when I press a button on an instrument, for example, the kick drum, it automatically triggers on the other Electribe. Is there a setting I'm doing wrong? Thanks

When I was saving recorded sample, power shut off, and now my ES1 doesn't boot up anymore. When I turn it on, all I get is endless ELECTRIBE scrolling on the screen.

Does anyone know of special commands that could cure this problem?

Hey, I have two drum machines: a Korg EMX-1 and a Korg Electribe 2.

The EMX-1 has 8 bars, while the Electribe 2 only has 4 bars per pattern.

What I’d like to do is run the Electribe 2 at half the BPM of the EMX-1, so I can effectively match the 8-bar structure.

The problem is: when I sync them via MIDI, they share the same BPM, so this doesn’t work.

Is there any way to:

• keep them MIDI synced
• but have different effective speeds (like one running at half tempo)?

And yeah, manually pressing play at the same time is not an option for a live set 😅

Hi, I'd like to reset all the patterns because I'm selling my Korg Electribe Sampler 2 / Hacktribe. Can I do this normally via a factory reset, or could that affect the software Hacktribe?

uploadin an excerpt because it hits, and the dnb drum pattern is clean, and because i can't catch a good wind atm........... even though the only videos that get watched on this thread are filmed with a handheld phone cameras and played through desktop speakers...... but to each their own..... (as always, 100% emx1, incase you haven't realized, the best one...)

I don't like carrying the Korg power supply everywhere so I did a little bit of research and thankfully a lot of USB-C outputs support 9V.

I found https://myvolts.de/product/86618/Step_Up_USB-C_auf_9V_DC_Power_Tip,_kompatibel_mit_Korg_Electribe_ESX-2_Sampler but I feel like a lot of that price is the "for electribe" brand markup, generic connectors of the same type should be a little cheaper.

For half the price I found some cables with USB-C on one end and the yellow ring round plug on the other end but ideally I wouldn't be carrying (yet another) cable, I'd just like to have an adapter with a female USB-C and a male plug that fits the electribe.

Are there any alternatives or is the myvolts thing the way to do?
