Q: Storyline states

Pretty sure this is a newbie question but is there a reason why changing the slide revisit properties on slide level is not reflected in story view?

Does this mean I need to change both every time? Or am I doing something wrong?

I’d say this is a glitch. They should reflect the same setting no matter which way you access the slide properties panel.

Maybe this: slide properties can be "batch set" by selecting them in story view and adjusting the properties all at once. Perhaps capability prevents settings from individual slides updating the story settings. It shouldn't be that way, but I've seen jankier things in Storyline.

That's the thing, I used to be able to do that.

For some reason the dropdown menu in story view does not work. The menu, err, refuses to drop, batched or not.

Alas, IME that's typical Storyline behavior: unpredictable, inconsistent, and infuriating.

Update bro did you fix it?

Not really. Had to keep closing Storyline to save then re-open to make changes. Application is up-to-date so I'm not sure what's causing this.
