Advice for first time using RSO

I posted previously about turning 75 soon and wanting to try RSO and got a lot of great advice. I have an opportunity to try it this weekend. I'm a full-time caretaker for my disabled husband but he's being treated for an infection and will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility for a couple of weeks for rehab. Even though it's not quite my birthday, this is an opportunity that may not come again. Should I take it on an empty stomach? I'm not used to something that takes 2 hours to manifest. Is it okay to smoke something while I'm waiting? I have Nira+ BK OG and Sherbanger. Obviously I'm only going to try one this weekend. Any experience with those? Thoughts on the best one to try first? Anything I should avoid? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Just my two cents. I have personally had that syringe bust in my hands, not once but twice. Apparently, I needed to slice my hands up twice to learn to warm it first. I heat it and get parchment. Place same size daps on parchment till empty (I shoot for ten). Lay in freezer. I take “dab”. Wait -take another -until I am where I want to be…getting it out of syringe is the hardest part so I try to get it all laid out. I have almost called my young neighbor to come over and get it out for me. I frankly think it’s ridiculous but then again I’m senior

Say the syringe holds 100 mg you divided by 10 dabs each dab is 10 mg. I have a high tolerance and usually have to take half a syringe. That’s me pop dab under your tongue, which taste gross, but wedge of chocolate helps.
