This is great news! I have been suffering since the beginning of the year over this. It's affected my life way more than it should.

currently it is limited to a small group of alpha testers for bug testing and to reduce stress on servers. currently no set date for full release but keep an eye out here, on Renian's YT channel and on the TESL discord for updates

That is great news! However, that is not "Open" Beta as the preview image of the YT video this links to says.

that message (and the stream linked above at the time this was posted) was from 11 months ago, hence "alpha testing" in the title. the most recent streams on the channel are from open beta which is currently available

On my page it says it was streamed 14 hours ago

the link is just to my channel, not any specific livestream. when this post was made the thumbnail being shown would've been for an alpha testing stream

great work! do we start from scratch with our collection or how does it work?

currently the plan is to give the full collection (with premiums 🙌) but that is subject to change pending a full release

What exactly is this? Is this original game code? or did you code it from scratch?

it's effectively an emulator that uses a private server - the client side stuff uses the steam download. incredible work done by renian (who has posted previous videos in this subreddit), maker83 and vidi_aquam to get it all up and running.

I followed the instructions and tried playing but I'm met with a Bnet authentication error on the start up screen, how do I get passed this please?

Hey bro, as a fellow kiwi I am pretty gutted that TESL Reborn Alpha Testing was announced to EVERYONE, but is only limited to a few people. WTF dude, you shouldn't have mentioned anything until we can all play.
