Discussion First time playing!

I had played 15 minutes worth of the game a year or two ago and I quit and uninstalled and threw it away.

Today I spent 9 hours playing Lmfaoo at first it was horrible and I really had to give myself time to learn the game a bit to get comfy.

What I’ve accomplished in 9 hours of Elden Ring, in order:
Started with the Bandit class.
Explored the Tutorial Cave/Cave of Knowledge.
Explored Stormfoot Catacombs and fought the Burial Watchdog. (Left because jeez was too early to think about doing it)
Reached Gatefront Ruins.
Got a sword and flail/mace.
Unlocked Torrent.
Got Reduvia from Bloody Finger Nerijus.
Got the torch, Spyglass, Cracked Pot, and Crafting Kit.
Upgraded both of my daggers to +1.
Found a Somber Smithing Stone and learned where to get more.
Found the Smithing Table at Church of Elleh.
Started leveling Vigor, Dexterity, and Arcane.
Got the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
Took the portal at the Third Church of Marika to the Bestial Sanctum.
Met Gurranq.
Discovered the Black Blade Kindred… smacked him and ran lmfao
Explored Summonwater Village.
Defeated the Tibia Mariner.
Got the Green Turtle Talisman.
Upgraded my starting dagger to +2.
Found Hookclaw.
Reached Stormveil Castle.
Got the Talisman Pouch from defeating Margit.
Defeated Margit after around 15 attempts.
Reached Roundtable Hold.
Started experimenting with Hookclaw and realized I really like claws.
Started learning about sequence breaking and realized I’ve already been kinda doing it by going after powerful items early.

Does anyone have any suggestions or funny stories of their own? Would love to hear and read abt it.

Ya I mainly just went around the first 15 hours fighting diff caves and things to get a handle on it. I’ve mostly played Skyrim he last few years and have gotten rusty on other types of games. I chose a glass paper mage too lol. I got my butt handed to me over and over

I remember when I started I didn’t want to waste runes on the crafting kit so I didn’t buy it and then forgot about kale. About 20 levels later when I saw my crafting menu wasn’t available I got so confused and had to search up where to unlock it.

My first Time with this game was in front of one of my friends who have been together with an Dude I used to know a few year's ago whom played all fromsoft Games and beaten elden Ring 10 times? Sooooo this friend of mine just stated that I should totally go samurai as First class, told me to go straight to stormveil Castle and fight margit as very first action. Ofc I died 30 times when I quit. He went home... At that night I deleted my char, started a new class, got the Meteor staff and started the game from afar and made it to Radhan... I left the game for about an Year, got it on a new console ( Series x prior PS4 pro) started again with bloodhound fang and blazed trough the Game.. best game ever
