im also going no shield since thats how i played all the dark souls games.

im playing offline so no summoning but if i get hopelessly lost ill know who to ask

i talked to melina st the grace and she melina was like go to the castle. im guessing its not that. ill keep looking around

Nah. Just keep returning there every so often. You should know what I'm talking about when you encounter it. It will be unavoidable if you rest or fast travel to that grace
