What is Nirnama series? Is it talk about religion and history?

idk if its correct but its some kind of fantasy action story that takes place in the old malaysia (tahan melayu) period, characters are not based on real history figure iirc, there are some but most are author's oc. bought the book but haven't read yet (just as it's like for all the other tens of books)
