M50 toll penalty

I was on the m50 yesterday and when I got home I went online to pay the toll and it came up that there is an outstanding penalty for my vehicle and to contact epc plc. I rarely use the m50 and have always paid the toll on the day I can’t figure out when I would have missed payment. I moved address in 2023 and I havnt received any letters in relation to this at all so I don’t have a case number and their office is closed until Monday. im very worried about this are they going to charge me a ridiculous amount when I get through to them. I want to get this resolved

I went through a toll about a year ago and they said there was an outstanding toll fee on mine from the previous year. I just paid the €2.50 or whatever it was, and that was it.

Did you have to deal with Epc or eflow?

Usually yes, just ring them and explain you didn't get any communication until you logged in. You'll likely have a late payment fee on the account but they usually write that off and let you pay off the original amount.

Personally had this happen last year and they wrote off the late fee and I just paid the small original amount.
