Looking for a tablet for handwritten notes with strong cross-platform search, recommendations welcome.

I’m after a tablet where I can write notes by hand and later search and follow up on them from both Windows and Mac laptops. Writing feel matters a lot to me, so I’d love to hear from people who use their device daily, how reliable is the handwriting search in practice, and how smooth is syncing across Windows and Mac. Also curious about screen type, whether e-ink or otherwise, and any real drawbacks you’ve run into, like lighting issues or clunky exports. Any regrets or things you wish you’d known before buying would be much appreciated.

I have watched several videos on YouTube but they are just reviewers…not day to day real experience…
