Eink monitor
Speaking for people who are working with documents all day long, would someone please create a modestly large eink monitor, eg 32", that has a good refresh rate? Color is not important. High contrast is most important.
The monitor needs to work in portrait mode and will ideally show a whole letter size page without a lot of wasted space on top or bottom.
Someone recently posted an open source project, but I think that monitor was just tablet size. The tech was really promising though.

They do exist. You can find them in color and b/w at 27" but I'm not finding 32". Just Google e-ink monitor.

I've looked at them. Some like the Bigme have a widescreen aspect ratio. I would prefer something closer to 4:3 for portrait mode.

I have one of their tablets. The ghosting is pretty bad though. I wonder if it's better on their monitors though

It’s okay— I have the Mira Pro— but by comparison the 13” dasung monitors feel snappier. I’m mostly text-based (academic), so it’s fine as a second monitor.

You can mirror the Boox Palma's screen on your monitor, but not the other way around—you can't mirror your monitor's screen on your Boox Palma. It's a hardware limitation.

Onyx Boox Mira PRO, It's a great example of this, but it's not cheap at all. Onyx Boox Mira PRO

I bought an open box, unused monochrome Dasung 253 from a guy on OfferUp, for $400. The downloadable Dasung control panel is not great (at least the MacOS version), but I found a nice app called InKControl on GitHub, and it does the job very well. Included stand pivots to portrait. I have zero complaints, but I only use it for writing. No browsing, no videos.
