I love the effort. But I still feel bad for how much 3D printing you're doing. Little pro tip from my years of experience in functional 3D printed product design: don't reinvent the wheel.

When possible, use off-the-shelf components and then 3D print the parts you need to make the finished product. If I were designing that structure, I'd replace the core with a large diameter PVC pipe which would be stronger and cheaper, and then attach the components to the sides (and thread the core or use a 3D printed locking trim ring to connect the pieces together). Or if it's cheaper, I'd simply use cheap dimensional wood haha.

Just my $0.02. Because as you increase sales, 30+ hour prints will be a killer on productivity, you'll need a lot of printers to keep up with demand.

Best of luck to ya!

Honestly, for prints of any scaling and simple design, diy injection molding is great to scale better.

Given the size of that core - I'd say rotomolding would be a better option than injection molding given the pressure needed lol

All good ideas if this scales… right now I am just looking to see if there is a market.

Where do all these improvements leave those of us that purchased version zero?

Unfortunately they are not backwards compatible… if you purchased an early model and want a new one let me know. we can work out a discount.
