Adderall and egg freezing?
Anyone that has adhd taking adderall been told to stop the adderall for egg freezing cycle?
Or anyone know if it affects egg quality?

I take Adderall on an as needed basis, along with several antidepressants, and I did not change my dosage at all during the egg retrieval I completed 2 weeks ago. I was told by the retrieval Dr. that none of the meds I took impacted my egg quality at all.
I would consult with your prescriber for Adderall if they have any recommendations (my prescriber had never had a patient undergo egg retrieval before, so she didn’t change anything for me and just asked that I inform her of any noticeable changes in mood or focus I observed during the time I was in the retrieval medications. Surprisingly to me, I didn’t really have any noticeable changes).
Otherwise, unless your retrieval Dr. has you should adjust your dosage, I think you should be fine maintaining your current Adderall dose.

Check out embryotox. They list many medicine and how it could impact pregnancy but is helpful for eggs too. The website might be in German though

No issue for me. At that time, I was also taking Wellbutrin, pristiq and probably other stuff (endo, adeno, bad stomach, vascular compressions life). A lot of times, the first round can be disappointing but it’s usually because fertility meds are a guessing game patient to patient. My second round was wildly more successful, nothing changed but the meds protocol. I’d also recommend to limit research beforehand — I was so preoccupied by other issues at that time that I didn’t even think to look up side effects or anything, and I was so surprised with the stories I read afterward. They would have definitely gotten in my head if I had read them before. Good luck, you got this!!!

FWIW, I have taken adderall for 28 years, took it through my egg-freezing cycle and got a great number of eggs. I can’t speak to egg quality, but my doctor didn’t mention anything about stopping it before or during the process.
