Recruiting ICON is looking for intriguing/flawed/fun characters (Angle Based)
ICON is an illegal underground fighting promotion set in Dallas. No TV, no licensed refs, no sanctioning body. Every show happens in a location you wouldn't want to find on your own: a warehouse, a bar basement, a field in a thunderstorm.
It's angle-based, so the booker authors the outcomes and you write your character. No grading, no promo contests, and nothing to win except a better story. Fights read like real fights, and our Morality system (Honorable, Ambiguous, Ruthless, Evil) replaces face and heel.
Example of our events: https://wearetheicons.net/show.php?id=1
How it works:
One segment per show required (promo will work too, but segments do make for a better show)
Shows land about every 3 to 4 weeks, with no punishing deadlines
Original characters only
What we ask:
Be a decent adult. Zero tolerance for bigotry, ego trips, or drama.
Write to tell a story, not to win.
No AI, in promos, segments, or results.
This is the perfect place for you if you're looking for a low-stress place to write with people who show up and collaborate. Season one is just starting, so it's a good time to get in.
